Lighthouse Family is a group that I have never heard on American radio, and Ocean Drive is in the top three of my personal favorites. Alan Parsons is a magnificent producer. You must truly listen to his work to appreciate it. Stings song I first heard while watching the movie Leon. Great track, very emotional. The song by Danger is newer and a great mash up of electronica and hip-hop. The new Maroon 5 takes a fresh look at Frank Sinatra. My alternates are good too. Obviously, Fly me to the Moon is a replacement for the new maroon 5 piece. solid Frank. Still golden. Charms is from the late 1990s and is a terrific, seldom heard, often overlooked piece. Complex, beautiful. Enough said. Thanks!

For the most part I stayed away from singles with this playlist because I think these artists have some great non commercial songs and I wanted to put together a playlist that rocked after hearing Scentless Apprentice start off a playlist last week. Bag It Up - Many people only know the early days of Oasis (Live Forever, Wonderwall, etc.) but their sound has evolved, and they have a bit more edge to them not shown in their singles. Sit and Wonder - most people know the Verve from Bittersweet Symphony or Lucky Man but they have many amazing songs, and Richard Ashcroft is extremely talented. Black Gown - Evan Dando is under the radar these days but his solo album and the return of the Lemonheads shows he can still make great music. Coast to Coast - Elliott was working on this when he died, it is haunting and rocking at the same time. The Likes of You - has a nice groove to it and I just love the way it sounds. Scorpio Rising - Liam Gallagher has one of the most unique voices in rock and this song shows how raw and powerful it is. Humbug - The Arctic Monkeys are another great UK band, producing some interesting and dark rock music.

My alternates include Bark at the Moon by Ozzy Osbourne which, by the title, one would assume is a werewolf song, but if you listen to the lyrics hes actually describing a Revenant.
